1 Hurt in Pittsburg Car Crash on Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue


Pittsburg, California (February 5, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened on Tuesday morning in Pittsburg, Contra Costa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 8:49 a.m. February 4, on Highway 4, just west of the Railroad Avenue on-ramp.

As per the CHP report, a black Chevrolet Avalanche, a gray Toyota Corolla and a third car were involved in the accident.

Emergency crew responded to the scene and transported at least one person to John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center with minor injuries.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
