Roy Hernandez Hit and Killed by Car on West Lodi Avenue in San Joaquin County


Lodi, California (February 4, 2020) – The San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Lodi on Sunday evening.

The California Highway Patrol said the fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 6:10 p.m. Sunday, February 2, in the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue near South Crescent Avenue.

59-year-old Roy Hernandez was walking in the area and was struck by a car.

Mr. Roy Hernandez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

As per the CHP incident log, the motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
