Fresno, California (February 3, 2020) – A driver was seriously injured in an alleged DUI car crash
that happened on Saturday night in Fresno.
According
to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 7:30 p.m.
February 1, on Highway 180 near Brawley Avenue.
A 26-year-old man was driving an Acura Integra westbound on Highway 180 when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into another car.
The
Acura overturned after the collision, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.
The
man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical
Center for treatment.
The
driver and passenger in the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and were
treated at the scene.
The
highway was temporarily blocked as the authorities examined the scene.
No
additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
