Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Car on Philadelphia Street near Bridger Avenue in Chino


Chino, California (February 2, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident that happened in Chino, San Bernardino, on Saturday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:24 p.m. February 1, in the 5100 block of Philadelphia Street near Bridger Avenue.

The authorities said a 34-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the area when he was hit by a car.

The unidentified bicyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to Chino Valley Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.

As per the CHP report, the motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
