4 Injured in Los Angeles Car Accident at Vernon Avenue and Broadway in Los Angeles


Los Angeles, California (February 1, 2020) – Two Los Angeles police officers were among four people who were injured in a car accident that occurred in Los Angeles early Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway.

As per the report, the officers were responding to a crash in the area of 54th Street and Broadway when they collided with a second vehicle at the intersection.

Paramedics who responded to the incident had to extricate two people who were trapped in the second vehicle.

According to Los Angeles Police Department, the two officers and two civilians were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
