1 Killed in Indian Wells Pedestrian Accident Highway 111 and Cook Street

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car at Highway 111 and Cook Street in Indian Wells, Riverside County


Indian Wells, California (January 31, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Indian Wells, Riverside County, on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 9:44 p.m. January 31, near the intersection of Highway 111 and Cook Street.

The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said the motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.                              

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
