Teenager Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Avenue 70 in Thermal, Riverside


Thermal, California (January 31, 2020) – A young woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Thursday morning in Thermal.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6 a.m. January 30, on Avenue 70.

The victim, believed to be a teenager who was waiting for a bus to school, was hit by a car in unclear circumstances.

The unidentified pedestrian was flown to an area hospital for treatment.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
