Pedestrian in Wheelchair Injured in Crash at Marks Avenue and Sussex Way in Fresno


Fresno, California (January 31, 2020) – A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in Fresno on Thursday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Marks Avenue and Sussex Way.

The man was crossing a street in his motorized wheelchair when he was hit by a car that was making a left turn.

The unidentified pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
