Brandon Hall Arrested after Dunnigan Car Crash on 5 Freeway near County Road 4


Dunnigan, California (January 30, 2020) – 27-year-old Brandon Hall of Williams was arrested following a DUI multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday night near Dunnigan in Yolo County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near County Road 4 at about 7:15 p.m. January 26.

Hall was driving a Dodge when he attempted to pass a Toyota when his vehicle struck the Toyota.

The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to spin into the southbound lanes, where they collided with other vehicles.

The police said Hall suffered major injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy San Juan Hospital. He was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Three other drivers were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.

No other information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
