Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Highway 79 and Anza Road in Temecula, Riverside County


Temecula, California (January 31, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Temecula, Temecula Crash, on Thursday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of Highway 79 and Anza Road at about 6:30 p.m. January 30.

A man was reportedly riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Highway 79 when he collided head-on with a 2009 Volvo semi-truck for unknown reasons.

The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Hemet man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver was unhurt.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
