Hesperia, California (January 30, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision that happened in Hesperia, San Bernardino, on Thursday night left one person seriously injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road at about 5:45 p.m. on January 30.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies and San Bernardino County Firefighters who responded to the incident recovered a Toyota Prius and a pickup truck at the scene of the accident.

The pickup truck was traveling westbound on Mariposa Road when it collided with the Prius that was traveling westbound on Live Oak Boulevard.

The Toyota driver was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The pickup truck driver was unhurt.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
