Sacramento, California (January 31, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a big rig on Thursday night in Sacramento.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. January 30, at Highway 99 and 47th Avenue.

The events preceding the pedestrian accident were not immediately established.

The authorities said the pedestrian was killed in the collision.
