Ronnie Rodriguez Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Brawley Avenue and McKinley Avenue


Fresno, California (January 30, 2020) – The authorities have arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred last week Friday in Fresno.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Raul Morales is suspected of having been driving a car that struck Ronnie Rodriguez at Brawley Avenue and McKinley Avenue.

Rodriguez, 53, was in a wheelchair and was traveling on the right shoulder of Brawley when he was hit by a truck.

Ronnie was killed in the accident.

Rodriguez fled the scene, but his truck was located in a home in the neighborhood.

The authorities raided his home and found him in the process of repairing the vehicle.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
