Nathan Martin Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Third Street and Campton Drive in Oxnard


Oxnard, California (January 29, 2020) – An off-duty police officer was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday night in Oxnard, Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. in the area of Third Street and Campton Drive.

 45-year-old Officer Nathan Martin was riding his personal motorcycle when he crashed into a tractor-trailer that made a left turn in front of him.

The 20-year-old veteran at the Oxnard Police Department was killed in the collision.

Information about the motorist was not immediately disclosed.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
