Joseph Denson Killed, Christian Hunt Killed in Car Crash on Highway 20 at Road A


North Coast, California (January 29, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-car accident that occurred in North Coast near Calpella, Mendocino County, on Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 20 at Road A at about 7:45 a.m. January 28.

32-year-old Joseph Denson was reportedly driving a 2014 Mercedes C250 sedan eastbound on Highway 20 when he collided with a westbound Jeep Cherokee driven by 48-year-old Christian Hunt of Lakeport.

Denson, a resident of Ukiah, was killed in the collision.

Hunt was transported to Ukiah Valley Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
