Pimienta Celso Injured in San Marcos Pedestrian Accident on Borden Road


San Marcos, California (January 28, 2020) – Pimienta Rodriguez Celso, 43, has been identified as the landscaper who was seriously injured after being hit by a car in San Marcos on Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. along West Borden Road near Palomar College.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said Celso was unloading landscaping equipment when a car driven by a 16-year-old girl crashed into a parked trailer he was standing next to.

 Rodriguez Celso sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The condition of the girl was not immediately disclosed.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
