Morongo Valley, California ( January 27, 2020) – A man who was hit and killed by a pickup on Friday night in
Morongo Valley, San Bernardino, has been identified as 28-year-old Joshua
Alexander of Pine Grove.
According to the California Highway Patrol,
the accident was reported at about 10:15 p.m. January 24, on State Route 62
near East Drive.
Joshua Alexander was reportedly walking in the
area and was hit by an eastbound 1992 Nissan pickup driven by 38-year-old
The Nissan reportedly was avoiding a vehicle
that swerved abruptly in front of it when it struck a pedestrian.
Mr. Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene.
DelaCruz stayed at the scene after the
accident and cooperated with the authorities.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
