California (January 27, 2020) – Two people who were killed in a car
accident in Winchester, Riverside County, on Friday morning have been
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said the deceased were
56-year-old Eva Barro of Hemet and 23-year-old Jesus Giron Araiza of Mexico.
The deadly collision happened on Winchester Road, also known
as Highway 79 near Scott Road at about 1:05 a.m. January 24.
Riverside County Fire Department said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound when it drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with a Honda CR-V.
Both drivers were killed in the accident.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
