Redding, California (January 26, 2020) – A woman died after a vehicle crashed into her car on Interstate
5 Freeway in Stockton on Sunday morning.
According to the
California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on 5 Freeway near Knighton
Road shortly after midnight.
A woman from Anderson was stopped in her 2007 Nissan in the number three lane of the freeway when a 2007 Dodge pickup truck crashed into her car.

The pickup truck driver, identified only as a 25-year-old man from Cottonwood, was unhurt.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
