(January 24, 2020) – Four people sustained injuries in a car accident that
occurred on Thursday night, January 23, in Victorville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened on Air Expressway in Victorville near the Federal Correctional
Institution at about 7:38 p.m.
As per the report, a white 2010 Kia Rio and a gray Jeep
Patriot collided head-on on the roadway, just east of George Boulevard.
The authorities said a 42-year-old man sustained major
injuries in the accident and was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Three other people were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center
for treatment of serious injuries.
Air Expressway was
temporarily closed as the authorities examined the scene of the accident.
