San Jose, California (January 25, 2020) – A motorcyclist died on Friday night.after being hit by a car in San Jose a week earlier.

The fatal motorcycle accident happened on Almaden Expressway at Cloverhill Drive at about 11:50 p.m. January 18.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Duncan Stout, 25, of Los Gatos was riding a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle on the roadway when he was hit by a westbound Mercedes-Benz that was making a right turn onto Almaden Expressway.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office said Mr. Stout sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to a local hospital where he died on Friday, January 24.

Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
