Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at Ramona Avenue and Kentwood Boulevard in Victorville


Victorville, California (January 24, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision that happened on Thursday morning at an intersection on Victorville.

The accident happened at Ramona Avenue and Kentwood Boulevard at around 8:46 a.m. January 23.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle and a white four-door sedan were involved in the accident.

Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, Victorville City Fire Department personnel who responded to the scene found a person down on the roadway with major injuries.

The initial report indicated that the victim was a pedestrian.

The patient was taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center before being flown by Mercy Air helicopter to a trauma center for further treatment.

No additional information regarding the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
