3 Injured in Roseville Car Crash on Base Line Road near Watt Avenue


Roseville, California (January 23, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car accident that left three people injured on Thursday morning in Roseville.

The accident happened on westbound Base Line Road near Watt Avenue at about 11:31 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Ford sedan and a green Dodge pickup truck are reported to have collided, possibly head-on, for unknown reasons.

The impact of the crash sent the truck about 50 feet down an embankment.

One person is reported to have sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Two others were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The authorities closed both lanes of the roadway to allow the authorities to examine the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
