Corona, California (January 22, 3030) – Four people were killed after a small plane crashed on Wednesday afternoon near Corona Municipal Airport in Riverside County.

The fatal crash happened just east of Corona Municipal Airport at around 12:11 p.m.

As per a local news report, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza failed to gain altitude despite multiple attempts to take off.

The aircraft reportedly crashed and burst into flames

Corona Fire Department officials responded to the scene shortly after the crash and tried to put out the fire.

Two women and two men were killed in the crash.

The identities of the deceased were not immediately disclosed.

The accident remains under active investigation.
