Mill Valley, California (January 23, 2020) – A 56-year-old woman was hospitalized following a pedestrian
accident that happened on Tuesday evening in Mill Valley, San Francisco.
According to the California Highway Patrol,
the accident happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Miller Avenue at Sunnyside
Avenue near the Depot Plaza.
The authorities said the Mill Valley woman was walking in the area and was hit by a Golden Gate Transit Bus.
The woman’s left leg was pinned under the
right front tire of the car.
The unidentified woman was extricated and was
taken to Marin Health Medical Center for treatment.
The bus driver remained at the scene and
cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
