California (January 22, 2020) – Shelly Murphy, 36, has been identified as
the woman who was hit and killed by a car in San Francisco on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened at about 8 p.m. January 18, on southbound Highway 280 near the Cesar
Chavez Boulevard on-ramp.
Shelly Murphy was in the far left southbound lane when she was hit by a white Toyota Highlander.
Murphy was killed in the accident.
Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
