Pauma Valley, California (January 22, 2020) – Johnny Esslinger, a 58-year-old Valley Center man, died on Monday following a motorcycle accident that happened two weeks earlier in Pauma Valley, San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the
accident happened near the intersection of Cole Grade and Spring Valley roads
at about 6:45 a.m. January 6.
Johnny Esslinger was riding a motorcycle on the roadway and was trying to pass slower vehicles when he collided with a pickup truck that allegedly made a turn in front of him.
Mr. Esslinger was seriously
injured in the accident and was taken to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
Sadly, Mr. Johnny Esslinger died
on Monday morning, January 20.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
