Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car at North Oak Boulevard and Brighton Avenue in Grover Beach


Grover Beach, California (January 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, the California Highway Patrol said.

The pedestrian accident happened at about 7 p.m. in the 300 block of North Oak Park Boulevard at Brighton Avenue.

Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, Five Cities Fire Authority officials who responded to the scene confirmed that the pedestrian was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased and the details about the driver of the vehicle involved were not immediately provided.

The pedestrian accident remains under active investigation.
