(January 21, 2020) – A pedestrian died
after being hit by a vehicle in Ukiah, Mendocino County, on Sunday night
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 11:00 p.m.
January 19, on U.S. Highway 101, according to the California Highway Patrol.
John Ibanez of Reedley was reportedly driving his silver Ford F-150 northbound on Highway 101 when he hit a man who was walking on the roadway.
The man suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was sadly
pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the pedestrian accident is underway.
