California (January 21, 2020) – A bicyclist died after being hit by a car
in Arleta, Los Angeles, on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal
bicycle accident happened at about 7 p.m. January 19, on Branford Street west
of Arleta Avenue.
Los Angeles police said 36-year-old Jesus Urbina was riding a bicycle on the roadway and was hit by a Mercedes sedan.
Jesus Urbina sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
The motorist who struck Urbina
is yet to be located.

An investigation into the bicycle accident is ongoing.
