Riverside County, California (January 20, 2020) – Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened on Saturday morning on 91 Freeway in Corona, Riverside County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 1:10 a.m. January 18, on 91 Freeway La Sierra Avenue.
As per a local news report, several vehicles
were involved in the crash.
Riverside Fire Department officers who
responded to the scene extracted two people who were trapped inside their
vehicle after the crash.
The two were rushed to the hospital in
Three other victims were transported to a
hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
The authorities shut down the westbound lanes
of Riverside Freeway as the authorities cleared the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
