Saugus, California (January 19, 2020) – A man on a wheelchair was hit and injured by a car on Friday
morning in Saugus, the police said.
The accident happened at about 11:35 a.m.
January 17, in the 26500 blocks of Bouquet Canyon Road near Best Buy.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a
man in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.
The victim sustained unspecified injuries and
was attended to by the paramedics before being rushed to a nearby hospital.
The name of the patient and his current
condition was not immediately disclosed.
No information was provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
