Fresno, California (January 20, 2020) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a woman who died after being hit by two cars as she ran across the street to get McDonald’s for her family on Saturday night in Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the victim was identified as 56-year-old Laura Bryant.
The pedestrian accident happened near the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Shaw Avenue.
Bryant was reportedly running across Shaw Avenue to a McDonalds when she was hit by a car.
The impact of the collision threw the woman into the middle lane and was hit by another car.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police said the driver who struck Laura Bryant remained at the scene.
The second driver fled the scene and was yet to be located.
No other information was provided.
