3 Killed and 3 Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident at Temescal Canyon Road and Trilogy Parkway, Los Angeles


Temescal Valley, California (January 20, 2020) – Three teenagers were killed in a hit-and-run car accident at Temescal Canyon Road and Trilogy Parkway on Sunday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection off 15 Freeway near the entrance of the Glen Ivy Hot Springs at about 10:28 p.m. January 19.

The authorities said a Toyota Prius was struck by a second car, with the impact sending the Prius off the roadway where it crashed into a tree.

One occupant of the Prius died at the scene while two others succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Three others were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The second motorist did not stop at the scene but was later located by the authorities after being followed by a witness.

The suspect was taken into custody on multiple charges.

Temescal Canyon Road was closed for an investigation.

No other information about the accident was provided.
