Irvine, California (January
20, 2020) – One person was injured in a suspected DUI car accident that was
reported on Saturday morning in Irvine, Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened at the intersection of Jamboree Road and
Beckman Avenue at about 1:15 a.m. January 18.
A white Mercedes-Benz sedan and a
gray Lexus sedan are reported to have collided at the intersection for unknown
Fire department personnel who
responded to the incident had to extricate the Lexus driver who was trapped
inside the vehicle.
The unidentified motorist was
later transported to a local hospital for treatment in unknown condition.
The Mercedes driver was arrested
on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
