San Mateo, California (January 19, 2020) – A woman died after being struck by a car on Highway 101 in San Mateo early Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The accident happened on
Highway 101 at the State Highway 92 connector at about 1:44 a.m.
The California Highway
Patrol said the woman was struck by a Toyota Camry after getting out of her
Toyota Yaris which had been hit by a Dodge Charger.
The unidentified woman
was killed in the accident.
Both the drivers of the
Camry and the Charger were arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Several lanes of southbound
Highway 101 were closed as the authorities examined the scene.
