The authorities in Panama have found seven bodies buried in a mass grave in a jungle in north-west Panama.
The authorities said the victims were killed by an indigenous-run sect believed to have been performing exorcisms.
The victims were described as a 32-year-old a pregnant woman, her five children and a 17-year-old neighbor.
The discovery was made after three villagers escaped and made their way to a local hospital before alerting the authorities.
The authorities raided the region and freed fifteen people.
Ten people were arrested on suspicion of murder.
