2 Injured in Camarillo Bus Accident Highway 101 near Carmen Drive


Camarillo, California (January 17, 2020) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a school bus that happened on Friday afternoon in Camarillo, the police said.

The incident happened on southbound Highway 101 near the Carmen Drive off-ramp at about 1:18 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a school bus and a gold Honda Civic. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the Civil overturned after the collision.

Two people inside the sedan sustained unspecified injuries.

Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victims.

The condition of the bus driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was not disclosed.

No other information on the accident was provided.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the bus accident.
