California (January 17, 2020) – The authorities have disclosed the name of
a 12-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a car in Sacramento on
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened shortly before
10 a.m. January 15, on Business 80 near the Watt Avenue exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 12-year-old Kendra Czekaj was chasing after a distraught 16-year-old who was crossing the street when she was hit by a car.
Kendra Czekaj sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced
dead at the scene.
