Indianola, California (January 15, 2020) – A man who was killed in a car accident in Indianola, Humboldt County, on Tuesday night has been identified as William Clymer, 42, of Eureka.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Indianola Cutoff.
William Clymer was driving a GMC Jimmy on the roadway and was hit by a 2019 GMC Yukon driven by 42-year-old Michael Snorden of Indianapolis.
The impact of the collision caused the Jimmy to overturn.
Mr. Clymer sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. Snorden and his passenger, 34-year-old Donna Rim of Alpharetta, Georgia, were unhurt.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
