At least one person was killed in an explosion at a petrochemical plant in the Spanish port city of Tarragona on Tuesday.
According to a report released by the regional fire service, eight workers at the Industrias Quimicas del Oxido de Etileno Company were injured in the blast, and one person is still missing.
The person who died was in a nearby building that collapsed from the shockwave.
Spanish prime minister said the government was ready to provide the necessary support to those affected by the disaster.
The civil defense agency also advised city residents to remain indoors and keep windows shut.
Train services between Tarragona and neighboring Port Aventura were temporarily halted.
The cause of the explosion was yet to be established.
