2 Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Earl Street and Emerald Street in Torrance


Torrance, California (January 14, 2020) – A girl and a woman were injured in a pedestrian accident in Torrance on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Earl Street and Emerald Street.

As per the report, the two were crossing the street when they were hit by a 2017 Toyota Rav4 that was making a turn from Earl Street in Emerald Street.

The woman and the 5-year-old girl were injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 45-year-old Carson woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.                   

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
