Hesperia, California (January 14, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday
night in Hesperia, the police said.
The deadly accident happened at the
intersection of Donert Street and Hesperia Road at about 7:17 p.m. January 13.
The California Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was hit by a white Scion that was traveling southbound on Hesperia Road near Donert Road.
The emergency personnel responded to the scene
and found a male pedestrian lying lifeless in the northbound lanes.
The white vehicle, which was stopped at the
scene, had serious front end damages. The driver remained at the scene and
cooperated with the officials.
Hesperia Road was closed between Sequoia and
Sycamore streets for several hours as the scene was cleared.
The pedestrian accident is under investigation.
