(January 14, 2020) – One person was injured in a traffic collision
involving a big rig that occurred in Petaluma on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened at about 1:44 p.m. January 13, in the 5100
block of Lakeville Highway near Highway 116.
The authorities who responded to the
incident recovered a semi-truck and a second car at the scene of the accident.
The paramedics had to extricate
one person who was trapped in one of the cars.
At least one person was injured in
the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
