(January 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist died after being struck by a car in Moss
Landing, Monterey County, on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Highway 1 and Moss Landing Road at about 1:30 p.m.
A motorcycle and a box truck are reported to have collided
on the roadway for unknown reasons.
The unidentified motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
It was unknown if anyone in the pickup truck was injured.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
