San Diego, California (January 13, 2020) -Three people were injured after a Chevy Suburban and a Buick Century collided on Sunday afternoon in the Oak Park area in San Diego.
According to a statement by San Diego police, the accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. January 12, at 6300 College Grove Way.
A 32-year-old man was driving a 2008 Suburban and was turning onto College Grove Way from 94 Freeway when he collided with a Buick driven by a 20-year-old man.
One passenger in the Buick suffered a ruptured spleen and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver and another passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Four children in the Suburban were taken to a hospital for evaluation and later released.
No additional information regarding the accident was available.
The SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the incident.
