Fontana, California (January 12, 2020) – A man died in a collision
involving two motorcycles in Fontana on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly motorcycle accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Mango Avenue near Baseline Avenue and Wabash Avenue.
As per the
CHP report, a 42-year-old man was
riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with another motorcycle
operated by a 30-year-old Fontana man.
Officers from the Fontana
Police Department who responded to the incident found the 42-year-old man
unresponsive at the scene.
The unidentified man was rushed to a local hospital
where he was pronounced dead.
The condition of the second rider was not
immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the motorcycle accident is ongoing.
