Lincoln, California (January 11, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-car accident at an intersection in
Lincoln, Placer County, on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 65 and Nelson Lane at about 1:16 p.m. January 3.
The authorities said Thomas Kerns, 34, of
Grass Valley, was driving a Nissan Altima southbound on Highway 65 when he
reportedly ran a red light and rear-ended a semi-tractor trailer truck.
Kerns was killed in the accident.
The condition of the truck driver was not
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
