At Least 1 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway in Sacramento


Sacramento, California (January 11, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Friday afternoon in Sacramento.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4:18 p.m. January 10, on Interstate 5 Freeway.

A pickup truck and three sedans were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.

One of the vehicles ended up on top of another vehicle.

As per the CHP report, the collision resulted in minor injuries.

Two lanes of the highway were closed until the scene was cleared.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
