Rialto, California (January 11, 2020) – A driver who was fatally struck by a vehicle after exiting
his vehicle on Thursday evening in Rialto has been identified as 75-year-old
Hossein Fallah of Upland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:55 p.m. in the area of Riverside and Etiwanda avenues.
The crash involved a black Honda Civic and a
Fallah is reported to have exited his pickup
truck and was walking across the lanes when he was hit by a passing Honda
The Honda then veered off the roadway after
hitting Mr. Fallah and struck a tree.
Hossein Fallah was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Honda was taken to hospital
for treatment of unspecified injuries.
